GovBot Environmental Site Context
Read-only environmental context for a location: wetlands mapped by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Wetlands Inventory, final and proposed critical habitat for threatened and endangered species, and facilities regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with their published compliance and enforcement summaries. No account or sign-in is required.
Sources
- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Wetlands Inventory map services: wetland and deepwater habitat polygons with Cowardin classification codes and acreage, and the source imagery year and scale of each mapping project.
- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Ecological Services critical habitat service: final and proposed critical habitat with species, listing status and Federal Register citation.
- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO): facility search and Detailed Facility Report.
Each result states the publishing agency, service, layer, retrieval time and the vintage the agency reports. Records are read live from the agencies and held for up to ten minutes to limit repeat requests.

Scope and support
Results are screening context. A mapped wetland is not a wetland delineation or a jurisdictional determination, and the service makes no permit decision. Critical habitat maps are not the legal boundary description, which is the rule published in the Federal Register. ECHO compliance values are EPA's published summary and not a compliance finding. Data vintages vary by layer and area. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or any government agency.
