Effective October 25, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Environmental Site Context at environment.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research and site screening. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of the agency services. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Preserve the stated agency, service, layer, vintage and retrieval time when reusing results. National Wetlands Inventory polygons are mapped from aerial imagery of the stated year and scale. Critical habitat layers are not the legal source for critical habitat boundaries. ECHO data come from EPA and state systems, are refreshed on EPA's schedule and can contain reporting errors or lags. An empty result or an unavailable source is not evidence that a resource or record is absent.

Limits of the service

Results are not a wetland delineation, a jurisdictional determination, a permit decision, an Endangered Species Act consultation outcome or a compliance finding. Those decisions are with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, EPA and state agencies. The service does not provide legal advice. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
